      At the north end of Basin Street; the main street through town. 

The town is in the central part of Washington State in the Pacific North West area of the United States of America. It is about 170 road miles east of Seattle, 126 miles west of Spokane and 90 miles northwest from Pasco. It is the county seat of Grant County with a population of about 6,808 (July 2001)

You can get to Ephrata several ways. There are schedule airline services to Grant County International Airport at Moses Lake, then drive only 17 miles along State Route 17 to Ephrata. Or by car along Interstate 90 from Seattle in the west or from many of the mid west states in the east. Take the Moses Lake exit and follow the signs to Ephrata.

You can also fly, or drive, into Wenatchee and drive to Ephrata along Highway 28, about 52 miles.

Passenger rail service is also available from Seattle and Chicago with stops in Wenatchee and Ephrata. Check with your travel agent for times, stops and services offered.
